If you weren’t really a cop you are at the very least a super talented ghostwriter! I don’t need to know you’re “real” to know the problems you’re listing are. And you’re suggested changes to the system are very thought-provoking: malpractice insurance, for when you end up on the wrong side of your oath. What’s so beautiful about this idea is that cops can’t really say this is particularly indicting since we already make doctors — who pledge to first do no harm — pay for this coverage. Ways to introduce personal liability seem critical. Thanks for the perspective.
